Here are some pictures of a home I completed over the summer. This is the beautiful front door!

Here is the stunning entry way. This details in this home are incredible. I love the vaulted wood ceiling in the entryway, with it's timbers, beams, and columns.

Off to the left is the dining area. Off to the right is the stairs leading to the lower level.

We still have window treatments to add to windows, but even without them the rooms are stunning. In this room I picture simple pinch pleat panels in a rich fabric flanking each side of the french doors. In this lower shot you can see the stairs that sit opposite the dining area. I love the the wood and rock columns that define the different spaces in this area of the home.

This is the lodge room. Complete with a baby grand piano. This family is full of talented children who happen to be masters on the piano. You can't really see it in this picture but there is a giant wall of the most beautiful windows in this room............floor to ceiling drapes coming soon!

Behind the lodge room is the kitchen. Look how cool this refrigerator is. I love the rock work here and the sage green cabinetry.

This is a look at the full kitchen.

Here you can get a peek of the Butler's pantry, there in the back! For the cabinetry in this kitchen we used a sage green w/ a brown glaze, a cream, and a walnut color.
Since this picture was taken, we have added more "groupings" of plants, platters and apothecary jars on top of the cabinets.
Here is a picture of the keeping room off the kitchen.

In this picture you can see how beautiful the walnut flooring is.
Here is a picture of the front porch.

At 7800 sq. feet this is just a taste of what a cool house this is, when I get some more time I will add more pictures of the rest of the house and the exterior.

Face Lift

Photobucket

I found this beauty and couldn't resist picking it up. I paid more than I wanted for it, but I thought it had good bones.

I love that it is an old record player. It even has the original stickers and "brand tags on the inside. I lightly sanded, painted it a sagey-blue green and dry brushed it to give it some depth and character. I still have to pick up a small handle for one of the doors.

But, other than that I love how it turned out!! I am going to be selling it over at Recycle Love consignment this weekend.
